Today was a long day. Departing at 6:00 am is always an adventure, but one we’re happy to undertake to attend such a well-run tournament with such incredible talent.
Days like today test the meddle of a forensics team. When so many big, powerful forensics teams gather in one place, it’s easy for a team like Sheboygan North to get lost in the mix. I’m proud to say, however, that today was another in a series of successful days for our team.
It was also a day of firsts. Karl Munoz competed for the first time, and he was also our first male competitor this year. Molly Zenk broke into final rounds for the first time. Joining her in moving into final rounds were Liz Johnson and Katie Folan. I observed a student in her final round for the first time this year, and Liz Johnson is a star!
After a very tough day, we’re proud to bring home the first place trophy for a small team!
